JOB POSTING GUIDELINES FOR EMPLOYERS
BadassAccountingJobs expects the employers that use our services and the jobs they share to reflect BadassAccountingJobs’ mission and to provide value to job seekers. To that end:
All job postings must be for legitimate and actual job opportunities: specifically, no advertisements disguised as a job opportunity, no illegal pyramid schemes, etc.
If you are uncertain whether your business or job posting can meet our criteria, please contact our Customer Support team (employer@badassaccountingjobs.com).
To help employers ensure the job postings meet BadassAccountingJobs’s requirements, here are some additional detailed guidelines for employers:
Job postings should clearly communicate the necessary details regarding the job position. This means:
Postings should be properly categorized by job type and pay structure (e.g., commission only, salary, hourly, etc.). For example, if the employer is paying a base wage and the employee will also receive tips or bonuses, that is categorized as “Salary/Hourly”. Another example: if the compensation only includes commissions, that is categorized in the “Commission Only” category.
Job titles should only include the name of the job, not descriptors of the job or phrases. For example, an appropriate job title would be “Sales Agent”. Conversely, “Awesome Sales Agent Work From Home” is not an appropriate job title.
Job titles should not be in all caps or include symbols. Jobseekers will repeatedly flag these kinds of titles as spam and they will be edited, rejected or removed.
Job descriptions must clearly communicate the day-to-day job duties expected of the position. In our experience, Jobseekers find vague posts misleading which negatively affects application rates.
Employers should avoid spam tactics.
Job postings may not solicit services or include an advertisement unrelated to the available job position.
Employers are allowed one job posting per open position. Specifically, this means:
An Employer should not post identical job postings in different locations if the position is work from home or remote. A better practice is for the Employer to post one universal posting for the position (if remote). Our search algorithm will allow Jobseekers to search for these in any location search.
Positions that are remote or can be performed from home should be marked “remote” and location listed at their company headquarters or more broadly “United States”.
If a company has two business locations, and they are hiring a staff role at both locations, they may have one posting for each staff role per location.
Employers may post an evergreen position, if, for example, you are always hiring software engineers. However, this must be reflective of an actual open position and the posting should be taken down if, for any reason, the position is no longer needed.
All job postings are subject to BadassAccountingJobs’ review and approval process. BadassAccountingJobs.com reserves the right to reject or remove any job posting that it feels, in its sole discretion, is inappropriate (Refund & Payment Policy applies). BadassAccountingJobs may work with any employer to attempt to revise any job posting so that it meets BadassAccountingJobs’ policies and expectations.
